Organic Apple & Peanut Butter – A Nutritious Snack

This is one of my favorite snacks of all time.  It is delicious and it is nutritious.  Always choose an organic apple instead of conventional for it’s nutritional value,  and the peanut butter I use is also organic.  I prefer the chunky kind,  two tablespoons.

Nutritional Value Of An Apple:

Organic apples contains a lot of minerals and vitamins such as magnesium, copper, calcium, iron, potassium and phosphorus.  Also apple’s skin is very rich in vitamin A which is really good for your skin.  Other vitamins in an apple are vitamin C,  vitamin K,  Thiamine, vitamin B6.
Apple also contains a lot of fiber which is good for your digestive system,  and it’s a exellent source of energy. It is very sweet so it satisfies sugar cravings,  but the sugar it does contain is very easyly absorbed by the body.

Nutritional Value Of Organic Peanut Butter:

Peanut butter contains a great amount of B vitamins as well as Vitamin E. Eating peanut butter also helps to curb appetite.
Peanut butter has the good kind of fat in it,  which is mono-saturated and polyunsaturated fat.  But it doesn’t mean you can eat a whole can.  You can have 2 full table spoons.

Make sure that the peanut butter you select has only one ingredient :  Peanuts

Stay away from hydrogenated oils and sugar on the ingredient list.
