Coconut Flower & Flax Protein Bread

I am experimenting with different flower types.  Because I am trying to find the most nutritious foods I can eat every day.   This time I got coconut flower and a flax seed meal, to make home made bread.   I will be writing an article about coconut flower and flax seeds and their nutritional value a little bit later on.  This home made bread is full of protein and fiber, as well as good fat.


So here is the recipe for one of the most nutritious  breads you can eat.


The Ingredients:

Healthy Foods

1. Coconut Flower ( Half a Cup )

2. Flax Seed Meal ( One Cup )

3. Coconut Oil (3 tea spoons, virgin, unprocessed and unrefined )

4. 6 Eggs

5. Sesame Seeds

6. Agave Nectar or Raw Honey ( I wrote an article about it )

7. Sea Salt ( to preferred taste )

8. A tea spoon of Baking Soda

Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Set your stove to 350 degrees.

Now mix it very well with a fork, to make sure there is no clumps. It will not look like a regular dough do don’t freak out. It will be a little more sticky.   Like this:


Healthy Protein Bread Recipe


After you mixed every thing well, you can make it into any shape you want, I made it into a mini sandwich bread shape. But you can do what ever shape you like, be creative.

Place it on a backing tray ( I also use a backing sheet ) and put it into the stove.

Set your stove timer for 30 minutes.

When it beeps take it out and cool it for 10 minutes.

PS:  I also have this this other bread recipe I made,  but it is more of a sweet bread, and it is super healthy.
