What I ate On Wednesday

 

Hello my Sweet Lovies,

How is your weekend going?  I hope all of you are having a beautiful day and and expressing gratitude towards each and every moment :).  It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted a Food Diary, it’s all because I’ve taken up a few more online clients ( I do personal nutrition and workout plans online ), it has been keeping me quite busy.  But I know that some of you guys enjoy knowing what I eat and I will keep posting these food diaries for you guys.

Lately, I’ve added quite a bit more carbs to my daily regimen in the form of oats and brown rice, I’ve noticed if I don’t eat enough grains I lose muscle ( and I’m a bit lazy when it comes to eating these kind of carbs, they’re not my favorite, but I try cause I know my body loves it ).  One thing that I have been loving more than usual lately is boiled oats with hazelnuts and berries, I’ve even been craving it daily, and have been eating that as my post workout meal.  Since just oats, nuts and berries are not enough protein to my liking, I would also add an omelet from 2 eggs ( that is if it’s my post workout meal ).

This is how I ate this past Wednesday:

Breakfast:

( Everything Organic ) – 2 eggs, one whole red pepper, mushroom ( omelette ).

 

Snack after Breakfast:

Old fashioned oats soaked in hot almond milk ( unsweetened ), organic blueberries, dried apricots, cinnamon and hazelnuts.

 

Lunch:

Organic Spinach, Chicken, Parsley and Fresh Basil and I also have some yucca underneath there.  I love yucca so much that I eat it almost daily now.

 

Dinner:

 

What I ate On Wednesday

 

Organic Lettuce, avocado, chicken, rasberries and crushed hazelnuts, MMM delicious!  Hazelnuts are my favorite nuts right now, It’s the only nut I’ve been buying lately.

    Love all your meals Hun. I love carbs, and truly think they give me the energy I need to get through my workouts. Also love yucca roasted in coconut oil, it’s actually a staple food in my country. I’ve never tried hazelnuts, but will sure need to now that you’ve mentioned it lol. Have a great weekend love xoxo

    I love Yucca… we cannot get it here but once every few years when i go to visit my husband family in Venezuela i eat it a lot.. last year he was there and i told him: that he cannot come back without Yucca in the bags… that he can leave other important thing there but he HAVE to find a place for Yucca in his bags…LOL… (he did.. and i was happy for few weeks..)

      Ohh yes, yucca is more delicious than potatoes to me, I just love love love it :)

    All of your meals look delicious! You use ingredients that I would never think of using myself. Who would have thought that raspberries and chicken go together. Not me lol. I’ll definitely have to try this. Btw, I wanted to ask you what your opinion of couscous was. Worth eating it or not? :)

      Oh yeah, I also love chicken and peanut butter :)

      I personally love couscous very much, It’s been a while since I’ve ate it, because every time I eat it, my stomach gets’ bloated, but other than that, It’s very good.

    You are so lucky not to like carbs!!! I love carbs and really have to restrain myself from them… Love pasta and tortillas and tortilla chips, and crave them a lot. Not sure if it is because I grew up eating quite a lot of carbs or my body needs that…
    Do you roast the hazelnuts? I agree that they are the most delicious nuts, I love home-made biscotti with black chocolate, spices and hazelnuts.. But again, it is carbs, so I canæt make them too often…
    Are you still doing IF? I cannot fit so many meals in my day… I end up eating twice a day with a fruit snack in between and that’s about it. Fat doesn’t want to go though, it is clinging on to me :(
