Meet Me On Monday

Hello My Lovie-Dovies!

Smile :) it’s Monday Mingle!  Internet is a very interesting place, you meet people from all over the world, and me being me, I always believe that there is no coincidences, people that come into our lives because they are  meant to be there. Every Monday, I ask 5 themed or random questions and we all answer to get to know each other better.

This Week’s Questions:

  • Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges?

  • What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?

  • What sound do you love the most?

  • What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?

  • What is the food you absolutely can’t stand?

My Answers:

Q – Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges?

Meet Me On Monday

Long time ago I was a master of holding grudges, I literally held them for years, but when I started working on my inner world thorough meditation, something shifted in me, it was a very sudden change and I didn’t even realize that I’ve let go of everything. Now, I never ever hold grudges on anyone, and let me tell you, when we learn to let go, we will truly become free, and this feeling is incredible! Forgiveness is the only way to the peace of mind and pure love.

Q – What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?

The one above video was one of my favorites, it’s called ” Karlson That Lived On A Roof “, it’s about a tiny sized middle aged man who had a propeller on his back and was always acting like a kid.  I also loved another one called ” Kuzya Domovoj “, I’m not sure how to translate it into English, but it’s about a tiny guy who lives in people’s houses and brings them luck.

I still love my cartoons, sometimes I watch them right before I go to sleep, they bring me so much positivity and I love to go to sleep in a positive mood. Cartons bring back that innocence we had when we were children, I believe if we always think the same way we did when we were children, such as everything in this world is possible, our lives would be rich and colorful, and everything is possible we just have truly open our eyes to see.

Q – What sound do you love the most?

Meet Me On Monday

Three of my favorite sounds that would make a perfect sound combined together is the ocean, the forest and wind chimes. OMG how much I love these 3 sounds, I can listen to just these 3 for the rest of my life all day long.

Q – What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?

Meet Me On Monday

I love to do exactly what that picture shows :), but I get to do that rarely, cause even on my day off I try to get some work done.

Q – What is the food you absolutely can’t stand?

Meet Me On Monday

I hate it with passion – Mc’donalds. I remember when I was a kid, Mc’donalds used to be good,  last time I tried a Big Mac was probably 3 years ago, and I thought: What is this? This tastes like paper and I threw it out. Then I found out that food from Mc’donalds can stay looking the same without going bad for months, I don’t even want to know what they put into that food, just a thought of it repulses me.

Let’s mingle my Darlings!!!

Lot’s of Hugs

Tati

Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges?
I don’t get angry easily, but when I am really angry its often about somebody lying, betraying or disrespecting me and I cant forget and forgive. It hardly ever happens but I currently have 2 people in my memory that I can not forgive. For the last year or so I actively try to live a very positive life and what really helps it to search for growth, and unfortunately the bad moments are the moments you learn the most. This helps me to calm me down when I think about these people. but I have to be honest…sometimes I lie in bed, remember them and I get really aggressive and have trouble falling asleep.

What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?
Barba Pappa, that pinquin made of clay (cant remember the name), Donald Duck (the magazine, not the television version)

What sound do you love the most?
The quietness in the very early morning when the world is about to wake up and the birds already singing their songs softly.

What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?
Spending time with friends and family, doing yoga, walking outside with my mp3player
What is the food you absolutely can’t stand?Brussels sprouts, French Cheese (apart from Brie), McDonald, KFC, BurgerKing, Quick….all the bad fast food chains (not the asian ‘fast food’, that is still healthy food). I remember that on a trip with some collegues we stopped at the fast food chain Quick for a very quick coffee, I walked in, had to stand in the line for a minute and I felt sick of just the smell of the ‘food’

You are a scorpio aren’t you :))), I know exactly what you mean, cause my husband is like that, if he get’s mad everyone better take cover, literally, but he doesn’t get mad often.

I my self can’t stand when people are lying to me, this get’s me mad the most cause I am a human lie detector test and I read people very well, nothing gets by me, and OMG if I watch politics, I can’t watch more than several minutes of it it drives me crazy.

I think, fast food restaurants are the most gross food there is, even their salads are terrible, to me it seems strange that people can eat that and think it’s tasty. I remember my husband took me to this old fashioned burger places, he said it was from the 50s, I forgot the name but when they opened in Reno, where we used to live, the lines were insane. He told me that the burgers are so amazing it’s gonna be worth standing in line, so after I tried it I was like, OK this tastes exactly like the rest, why am I the only one noticing this.

      • http://www.facebook.com/pages/BodyworkX/196491690455064 Marilyn Rietveld

No actually I am a cancer. (or perhaps a scorpio in denial :P) hahhaa I love politics but I understand what you mean with the lying and the argumentation tricks they use. Lets start an anti-fastfood revolution! :)

      • http://www.facebook.com/denise.hendrickx Hendrickx Denise

No no you’re very right . They DO taste like paper!

No Calimero? *Op zijn kopje staat en eierdop* haha I believe you are way too young for that cartoon. :)

      • http://www.facebook.com/pages/BodyworkX/196491690455064 Marilyn Rietveld

Calimero!!! I forgot about that one. I am 25 but I know that cartoon :)

yes it is indeed Pingu :)

  • Katerina Gjorgievska

    Hi Tati,

I am so happy to be back with you. I got back from my trip on Thursday and I had a terrible cold, so I wasn’t able to workout :( I can’t wait to do your new lower body routine and go on with my challenge, I hope I won’t struggle too much.

Here are my answers to these wonderful questions :)

    1. I consider myself a patient person and I don’t like hating anybody. I can’t really say that a person has done something really unforgivable to me. There are people who have let me down and hurt me, but I can’t say I am still mad at them. I also believe that people can change, but I would still be cautious before trusting in someone that has been dishonest with me.

    2. I have seen the cartoon you posted a thousand times, I dreamed about flying and eating bagels just like Karlson did in the cartoon :)))) In my country, Russian and Czech cartoons were very popular when I was little. My favorite ones were from “Liliput put”, this is one of them:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YlwESdlRnE
I also love all Disney classics and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”.

    3. I love guitars. I love the acoustic sound, but a little distortion in an electric guitar makes me feel such a rush!

    4. On my day off a like to take long walks and go to big super markets :) I try not to stay at home during the day, and in the evening I love to watch a good movie.

    5. I hate “Piftija”, it is a traditional food in my country. It is made from pig fat, ears and some other parts of the pig. It is also filled with garlic. When I was a child and was forced to eat it, I wold get really sleepy and just spent the day in front of the TV :( I hate food that makes me feel lazy and sleepy and just sits in my stomach all day.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

You are so adorable, :), I checked out that cartoon, it is sooo cute and funny :)))

I know what you mean with pig fat and ears, I’ve tried that once and I almost vomited, I can’t eat food like that, grr

    • jt

Aghh I can imagine that dish, here we have something called “Botillo” that seems to be similar to that, once we visited my mother’s cousin and she had prepared that dish with all her love, I hated the taste and the aftertaste lol, but I didn’t want to be rude after all the work it took her to prepare it so I complimented it and ate it all… It was exactly like you’ve described your “Piftija”, all the way back home (like 400 km) sweating it ughh, didn’t feel hungry for 2 days I think..!

  • 1Ivana

  • Kate_CZ

    Hello everybody!

Tati, the dog picture is just hilarious! :D
I really enjoy reading about you and others more and more. These Mingles are great!
    My answers:

    1) FORGIVE:
I forgive and even forget the bad things quite easily. But maybe it´s like this because I have not yet been hurt too deeply. I wish I never will…

    2) CARTOON:
Without thinking the winner is Krte?ek (epic tales about a mole and his animal friends)

    3) SOUND
    - tinkling of carabiners
    - crunching of snow under feet
    - cracling of fire
    - cat´s purr
    - frying bacon sound (ok, the smell is probably more significant…)

    4) DAY OFF
    - climbing, cycling or skiing – depends on the weather
    - or sometimes just stay in bed the whole day – watch movies and read a thrilling book

    5) HATED FOOD
    - nowadays there is not such a food
    - I used to eat nearly nothing when I was young… now I love everything :)
    - I even like KFC, MCD… but I visit it only very rarely because I think I should not…

    • Alenka

Hi Kharla, my whole family used to watch Tom and Jerry when it first came to CZech. Including adults LOL. No they don’t hate each other, otherwise it would not be for children.

  • http://www.facebook.com/vanessa.haagvod Vanessa Haagvod

Hi Tati and hi everybody, here are my answers:
    1) Do you easily forgive or do you hold grudges? I think I forgive rather easily.
    2) What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? Mickey Mouse (magazine).
    3) What sound do you love the most? The sound of heavy rain when I’m at home in bed.
    4) What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? Lots of things. I really could not pick just one,
    5) What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? Sea food.

    • Kate_CZ

Agreed on nr. 3! How could I forget about that sound?! Love it so much. Especially when I sleep in attic. mmmmm….

  • sus

    Good morning everyone!
    1) Do you easily forgive or do you hold grudges?
I forgive easily. I have been forgiven much. I wasn’t always good about it, but have been learning and now it comes natural.

    2) What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?
I didn’t have a tv to watch cartoons when I was little, but when at a friends house, I always like looney toons.

    3) What sound do you love the most?
    Quietness. And thunder and lightening.

    4) What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Cook and grocery shop! I know that doesn’t sound like a day off, but I LOVE grocery shopping (weird I know) and when I am not rushed cooking, I absolutely love it!

    5) What is the food you absolutely can’t stand?
I’m with you on McDonald’s Tatitat. Google link slime. It will turn your stomach. They put it in the meat at McDonald’s. it is pretty gross. Last time I ate there (about a year ago) I was sick the rest of the day and just felt like I had huge lump in my stomach, like my body was refusing to process the food. Ugh.

I also do not like canned vegetables. So gross.

  • JB

    Good morning everyone :)

    1. Forgive or hold grudges: I do both – first I hold a grudge (some are as long as months and as short as 24 hours) , then I forgive LOL ! I always have to process whatever/whomever upset me, was it intentional, etc and then in the end I always make peace
    2. Smurfs
    3. I love the sound of rain on a tin roof…reminds me of my grandma (rip). And I love the sound of the ocean – my husband grew up on an island and every time we visit, I just want to stay and listen to the waves forever!
    4. Day off: I love to putter around the house – do laundry, cook new recipes and then lay around and watch my DVR shows :)
    5. Food I can’t stand: I don’t like breaded chicken patties (the fast food version)! They always seem so greasy and unappealing.

I hope everyone has a great day! Jennifer

    • http://www.facebook.com/janet.williams.739 Janet Williams

Ah! The joy of puttering! :)

      • JB

Janet – lol ;) You totally get where I am coming from! Most people may not know – puttering *is* an art form hahahaha

        • http://www.facebook.com/janet.williams.739 Janet Williams

          Indeed it is :)

  • jt

Back to mingling for me! :)

    1) Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? – I do forgive, but don’t forget lol! I mean, I think I can differentiate an involuntary or even thoughtless action from a voluntary and meditated one, and I give the opportunity for explanations. I don’t mind in the first case, we’re only human, but if the second one was with evil intentions, I just put distance with the person. It’s not that I hold a grudge, it’s just that I stop caring about that person from then on. I would find pointless to have in my life someone who really wanted to hurt me or the people I care about.

    2) What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? – Hrmmm this is a hard one, I liked so many :) But I loved watching “Fantasia” by Walt Disney over & over again :)

    3) What sound do you love the most? – Except from the music I love, the purr of a cat probably :)

    4) What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? – I think prepare some yummy foods, although I try my best everyday. But you know, do stuff that might require more than an hour to prepare with good care and attention to detail.

5 ) What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? – Ughh, tripe definately! I can’t even swallow it, my throat would say “no no” immediately. I also can’t stand greasy meaty stuff too, like suckling lamb (not to tell that I would feel bad for eating such a little thing :() but anyway tripe takes the cake!

  • Ricky 29

    1) Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? – It depends. If it’s something very personal like a close friend hurting me, than I can’t forgive that easily. If it’s about the little things like being late or forgetting my birthday – I can cope with that and won’t hold grudges

    2) What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? I loved the little mole too! and one Russian cartoon about a rabbit and a wolf (??, ??????! in Russian) – I was born in East Germany, so we watched a lot of the Czech and Russian movies, cartoons, fairy tales etc.

    3) What sound do you love the most? I can’t tell. I love all sounds of nature (except those that scare me like a thunder storm ;-) ). I like the sound when there’s fire in our chimney. I like the sound of little children’s laughter, especially when they are truely happy.

    4) What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? Sleeping, of course! Meeting friends. Going for a walk and enjoying a relaxed mood. Or shopping!

    5) What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? Cauliflower and brokoli. My father once cooked it when I was a child. And the smell was so disgusting. There was no way to eat that again!

    • Diana

LOL! Then you must remember the Little Mole as well! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mole_(Zden%C4%9Bk_Miler_character)) I really liked this cartoon when I was a little girl. :)

      • Ricky 29

yes of course I do! It’s still very popular here. my friends little son has some cartoon-books of the little mole!

        • Diana

Oh, that is so great! :D We have a renaissance of the Little Mole in Hungary! :)

          • Kate_CZ

Really? Wow :) Go, Little Mole, Go!

          • Ricky 29

It’s kind of renaissance of all the small things of the socialist time. books, toys, movies, tv shows, music, even food. I believe things have changed so quickly after the fall of the German Wall. first the people were crazy about all the modern “west stuff”. but after a while a lot of them felt that they lost so much of their own history, of their former life. and then they started being crazy about the old stuff

          • Diana

I never thought about it so deeply, but I think you are right. It is in our culture no matter what and we should keep it, and combine it with new (“western”) stuff. :)

  • MaiCarInMtl

Good morning! I’m having a homemade pumpkin chai tea this morning so this rainy fall
weather isn’t getting to me too much! :)

    1) Unfortunately, I do tend to hold grudges, but it all depends on who did what. Thing is, I
don’t usually retain anger against someone but more hurt and disappointment. I
often do not understand how people can be so mean to one another. If someone
mistakenly does something to me, then I forgive. But if someone purposely set
out to do something hurtful then I usually end up crying about it and
remembering it for quite a while. I rarely get mad though.

    2) I loved watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers when I was a kid. I also
really enjoyed watching Looney Tunes (I loved Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote and
the Tazmania Devil). I’m actually hoping to find the episodes on DVD sometime.
These days though, I love watching Wallace and Gromit. Unfortunately, I have
yet to convince my husband to watch it with me.

    3) I love the sound of wooden wind chimes yet I still have yet to actually buy a set!

    4) Sleep in! And then I often end up cooking or cleaning while movies or shows play in the
    background. I love lazy days!

    5) One of the worst things I ever tried is this Lebanese or Middle Eastern dish called
Kishik. From what I understand, it’s powdered yogurt mixed with I don’t know
what spread on some sort of baked bread dough. Tastes like someone took one of
those dehydrated cream of something soup packages, added a hint of water to it
and smothered it onto some dough. Beurk!!!!

    • 1Ivana

OMG Teenage mutant ninja turtles..I forgot about them…
when we were kids, me and my brother were alone in the mornings (school here has two shifts, morning and afternoon) and I was always a bigger sleeper..and every morning exactly at 9:30 my brother (4 years younger) were screaming….PO?INJEEEE (it means Beginiiiing) and in another second or two I was in front of TV…it is one of my best memories with my brother…
      How could I forgot that???
      Thank you for reminding me…:)

  • http://www.dheanadavid.wordpress.com/ Dheana

Good morning good people! Here’s my mingle….look forward to reading yours! :)

    Do you forgive
easily or do you hold grudges? I’m a forgiver.
In fact, I start the process while an argument is still in process. I always
try to give the benefit of the doubt and see the other persons perspective.
People only do unkind or hurtful things to us because they themselves are hurting,
so why add to the pain? Besides, I believe grudges hurt the grudge far more
    than the begrudged.
    What was your
favorite cartoon when you were a child? Tati, I love that
both of your favourite cartoons were about miniature people! Too cute! I think
we had less creative cartoons in North America. I watched the Flintstone every
day, but really loved some of the classic Bugs Bunny; the ones where he’d sing songs and do skits. Warner Brothers
has blocked all the clips from Youtube so I can’t share a clip.
    What sound do
you love the most? Waves, hands
down. I WILL live by the beach one day, mark my words. Until then though, I have a sound machine that I set to play waves. It’s such a soothing way
to fall asleep every night. I also love the sound of winds through the forest
and wind chimes too. I once heard wind chimes that actually played music. It
was like a sound-bite from paradise! Oh, and children’s laughter – if you could bottle that sounds, I swear you could sell it as a feel-good drug! LOL
    What is your
favorite thing to do on your day off? The picture you
showed is hilarious! I love dogs so much!

    I can’ say it’s
alone at the top of my list, but I love spending countless hours in the
kitchen on a day off, trying new recipes and filling the fridge with yummy healthy foods. Sleeping
in and waking up without an alarm is a pretty delicious element of a day off
too (She says at 10am, sitting in front
of the computer with her robe and slippers on! :-))
    What is the
    food you absolutely can’t stand?

    Fast foods,
like McD’s and also Frankenfoods; items that are marketed as food, but are so
processed and artificial, they don’t belong in the same category as real food.
Things like Pizza Pops and string cheese. I think it’s a travesty so many young
people fill their bodies with such crap and we wonder why we have a problem
with childhood obesity. Kind of a sad note to end on. Jamie Oliver is doing wonders in this area, trying to change laws and educate young people about nutrition. Love to Jamie Oliver! (There, I turned it around!) :)

Karlson on the Roof is actually a book by the Swedish children book author Astrid LIndgren! She wrote so many great books and a lot of them were filmatized – I have so many childhood memories relating to the world she made.. Anyway, on to the questions.

Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? – I held grudges before, but then again I was bullied badly in my childhood. If people do bad things with intent I don’t find it worthwhile investing my energy in holding any grudges.

What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? – The Gummy Bears – jumping here and there and everywhere..! And I also started reading the comic Elfquest from an early age.

What sound do you love the most? – I never really thought about it, but perhaps children laughing (pretentious, I know) – wood sounds, the sound of crashing waves, and a crackling bonfire.

What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? – Relaxing in a cafe or taking a hike in the mountains!

What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? – I also saw the documentary about the hamburgers – the Mac looked exactly the same after months in room temperature. Yuck! I don’t really consider heavily processed thing food, and I never eat fast food. The only food I’ve ever had a big problem with are beondegi (cooked silk worm larvae) – they are just too chewy. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_WXM0xbChJBY/TO-v4VhIJyI/AAAAAAAACTA/j4XQPBQMsl0/s1600/beondegi.jpg

Naomi, you have tough me something new today, Karlson on the roof was a book, I had no idea. Thank you for telling me.

OMG those worms look gross, I’m sure I would always try new things but worms, is not on my list.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

I’ve actually eaten those worms roasted, they’re not too bad.

    • Kate_CZ

Astrid Lindgren! I loved her Children from Bullerbyn (that was how they translated, so maybe the original name is different). I had no idea where Bullerbyn is, but it was number one destination on my child wish-to-visit-list ;)

Hi Everyone! (Tati, I’m a Scorpio…not sure if it will show up in my answers though — hee hee ;-))
    1. Forgive or hold grudges: Ohhhhh. I come from a very long line of Olympic Grudge Holders, so I was tought by the best. These days, *as soon as I can*, I try to process through whichever part of me is hurt and why, acknowledge it, accept any responsibility that may be mine, and then I pray for the supernatural help to forgive the other person (because I’ve found that I’m usually unable to on my own!). This quote woke me up to the damage that my grudge-holding was doing to me: “Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and then waiting for your enemy to die.”

    2. Bugs Bunny and the gang. My dad and I watched together and my dad could mimic *any* voice of any character! To this day, I know all the words to the “Rabbit of Seville” and due to my love of voices and accents, I’ve become a professional voiceover artist and audiobook reader :-).

    3. LIght rain, heavy rain/thunder, crackling fire, a laughing baby, applause (not even for me! I just love people being so excited/moved/united in agreement over something together…gigantic applause almost always makes me tear up, even when I’m in the crowd) :-).

    4. Day off: Sing, play piano or violin alllll day

    5. Food I can’t stand: Eggs! I can hardly prepare them for others I *hate* them…so awful because I know I’m missing this “perfect” food, protein blah blah! Sigh! :o)

    • 1Ivana

Scorpios are hard to lived in…not with, but in…I am a double one!…but we are fighters all the way so if we want to fight old bad habits we will have a private war…and win!!

      • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

        OMG Ivana,

Your are a scorpio as well? I’m in heaven :)))))

      • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

I must not be a real scorpio ::))

        • 1Ivana

Oh..a lots of things depends on your sub-sign..if you are something that gives you a good balance? I am double scorpio, so my balance is my poison…
hihi…but really in last few years I have the courage to deal with this, and to admit to my self that I want to be better person…and take all good things from my scorpios and the rest I build…:)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Olympic Grudge Holders, I can’t stop laughing at this ha ha ha, I guess it comes with the Scorpio territory, through your answers I can see that because you said process through, why, acknowledge it and accept any responsibility that may be yours. And the quote you used is one of my favorites.

Ohh WOW you sing, play piano, violin – I LOVE YOU!!! This is what I love about getting to know you guys, when I meet people that can do all that I am just magically drawn to them. I noticed a lot of us here a very creative, singing or arts, Kendra is an theater actress, I find this so fascinating.

I am happy to have met you :)

Your message about coincidence is so fitting this morning. I’ve been away for just over a week because my work has been insanely busy (poor excuse, I know) but I took today off and have spent my entire morning getting caught up with Lovingfit workouts and posts I’ve missed. And in doing so, have received the answers to questions I’ve been thinking about all week. Working out with music; yes or no – you answered that one in the Tailfeathers workout I think. Questions about Sandbag versus Versa bag – you answered in Athlete Body workout. Questions about making your own Versabag – just found the link. I love it! To me, this is the Universe’s way of telling me I’m on the right track! I used to say coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous! :)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Yes, things always happen as they are suppose to, I’ve been watching a lot of metaphysics lately, and I’ve been learning more about vibrations, I am a big law of attraction believer and when ever we seek something we begin to connect with the energy of it, and that’s when we attract it into our life. The more aware we become of it, more often it happens. For me it’s a daily thing now, as soon as I seek it just comes. I am glad I was able to answer your questions, yes VersaFit and Sandbag have their own advantages, but it’s definitely better to make versafit your self, sandbag you can also make but it’s a bit harder, Kate’s grandma made her one and it’s very very cool and it looks professional. I also think I am going to get a bigger sandbag soon as well so I have a variation of weight.

    Monday Mingle!!!
    1. I tend to do a little bit of both. I forgive quickly when I have disagreements with people, but I tend to remember the disagreements and the things that were said or done. I believe that forgive and forget is the right thing to do in most cases, so not forgetting makes me feel like I’m holding a grudge. But I don’t like for angry feelings and disagreements to linger.
    2. I pretty much loved all cartoons when I was kid, but my favorite was Scooby Doo. Even now I could still watch cartoons. I’m with you in that it reminds me of my childhood. The cartoon you posted is so cute! I wish I knew Russian just so I could understand what was going on.
    3. I can’t just pick one sound because there are so many beautiful sounds! If I were to assign them rankings, though, my top three would be ocean waves, thunderstorms, and birds chirping, in that order.
    4. I really enjoy taking my dog for a walk on days off. I need to start incorporating stretching too. I mostly use my days off to catch up on anything that need to be done around the house, like chores and cooking.
    5. Factory farm meat and diary. Since they’re not required to label the origin I assume anything non-organic is from a factory farm. I don’t even consume dairy and I source my meat from local farms, so it’s all organic and pasture-raised. Everything about factory farming repulses me, from the hormones and antibiotics, to the inhumane living conditions. I’m all for eating meat, and I feel that my body actually needs it, but I do not want to consume scared, miserable animals who lived horrible and sad lives. It’s heartbreaking and disgusting.

    Hi guys,

    - Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? Well, I think it eats up too much energy to hold grudges. I forgive easily but I cant forget quickly. It might seem contradictory but I can still move on even if I remember when someone hurt me cos it helps me to let the bad feelings go and give an other chance. :)- What was your favourite cartoon when you were a child? I never really had a favourite cartoon… I think I liked the Beauty and the Beast but it wasn’t a super favourite…- What sound do you love the most? Well, definitely n.o.t. my neighbour’s dog barking at dawn… lol. I love the sound of fire in the fireplace. It makes me feel warm and cosy… :)- What is your favourite thing to do on your day off? Hmmm staying in bed for long, drinking coffee calmly and having a late breakfast…- What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? I know I will hurt many people’s feelings but I cant stand pumpkin. My mum says I loved it crazily when I was a baby but now I cant stay at home when my mum is baking some… :( (Hehe, Tati, when I first tried McDonald’s I was 8 and the I almost threw up… It was so badly tasting and sweet-salty-unpleasant that after two bites I gave up… It took me 6 more years to convince myself to try it again…)
Have a nice day all of you! :)

Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? I think that I try to fix things as soon as they appear because I know that I will be thinking of it all the time. So talking with the person and explaining everything makes everything clear and after I forgive and don’t come back on that situation.
What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? My favorite cartoon was “Candy” (in the 80)
What sound do you love the most? Every sound of water (ocean, river, pool, rain) and forest sounds (wind, birds, branch wood creaking under my feet when I walk)
What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? If I can like this weekend, do a movie night with my kids in p.js and just relax.
What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? I would like to have something but I’m thinking and I can find anything… I would love to can’t stand fastfood (even if I don’t eat it often) and I would like to take off my sweet tooth hi hi hi! It would be easier for me to lose weight but I’m getting there even with my sweet tooth.

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

    morning all

1/ do you hold grudges or forgive easily? well….I normally just let things slide off of me….more forgiving to strangers than people I know I guess….I really try to let things go, but if I’m repeatedly disrespected, emotionally blackmailed, treated like an idiot, try to be taken advantage of (especially in business) then yes, I hold it long and deep…I find going on a rant helps to relieve the pressure and tension it creates….for me it’s not so much of a grudge, but just not being able to forgive someone…not sure that makes sense…lol

2/ favorite cartoon as a child? Mighty Mouse !!!!!! I was so mad when I had to go to kindergaten…it meant that watching this cartoon was over for me………..I don’t even remember the silly thing, just the “here I come to save the day” and the pose with the cape flapping in the wind

3/ sound I love the most? the ocean, the wind in the trees, birds chirping….I guess good old mother nature has my heart and ear

4/ favorite thing to do on my day off? sleep in !!!!!!!!!!!! be outside actively or passively = hiking or floating in the bay

5/ food I can’t stand? I won’t eat at a fast food chain !!!!! it does happen once in a very long while and I regret it for the next 24 plus hours….horrible stuff

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

Is mighty mouse the same as atom mouse? I used to watch a kids show back home with the name atom mouse.

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

not sure there Lvette….I watched this show in 1973-74 ish ???? in Canada….bye the way, best of luck with the move and farm…i’m cheering for you

    • Kate_CZ

      birds chirping! yes, very nice!

but I must admit that sometimes I feel morelikely I want to shoot them all and enjoy the silence thereafter. maybe I should work on controling my anger more ;)

Hello everyone, have a nice week.

    1. I used to hold grudges, maybe I kind of do now for certain people in my past, however for a couple of years from now I tend to take it a bit easier but also carefully.
    2. Pfff I used to watch lots of cartoons, my favorite ones were Candy-Candy, Maya the bee and Mazinger Z. A little bit older I like Garfield…and a little bit older than that I used to watch on youtube a cartoon “Chi the cat” it is so funny and cute.
    3. I love the sound of a creek, river, ocean, to fall asleep with the sound of a creek is very relaxing.
    4. My favorite thing to do in my day off is probably stay in my pajamas the whole day, but I also like to go to the hair dresser or watch a movie, it really does not matter, rest is a common thing.
    5. I cannot stand liver with onion, I do not like it. For the rest I am pretty easy with food.

    XD

p.s. Is there an easy top ten to start meditating? How did you start Tati?

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

What a cute little cartoon picture, so adorable :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

    Yay!!!! Mingle time!

***Do you forgive easily or do you hold
grudges? Usually I forgive easily. I see how these grudges hold other people
    back, and I don’t like it. Forgiveness isn’t a weakness–in fact, it’s a gift
to yourself, not to the other person.

***What was your favorite cartoon when
you were a child? Ohhhh wow…I always loved Tom & Jerry–but the old ones,
not the new ones. They made some new ones in the 70s and 80s where Tom &
Jerry were friends, and not only was the animation a pile of crap, those
cartoons were booooorrring! But I always loved the old ones. I always loved the
old Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies, too. They had better animation for those
cartoons back in the 40s, 50s, 60s, although sometimes not always the most
politically correct. I also loved JEM, though I would never admit it! :)

***What sound do you love the most? I love the sound of when the kids are up
too late and giggling mischievously in the other room. They’re older now (17 and 12), so it
doesn’t happen the same, but when they were like 8 and 13 it was so cute! :)

***What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? Depends on how I feel,
but usually there is a long walk involved and watching something really
    delicious.

***What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? I’m with you on
McDonald’s. I don’t think I’ve had it since I saw Supersize Me. I loved the
taste when I was a kid though!

    • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Lots of people have been adding videos of their cartoons, so here is the “Jem” opening! I loved this show but was soooo embarrassed about it…I don’t know why. I would change the channel when someone came in the room. It’s about this girl Jerica who has an alterego who’s a rockstar named Jem. Oddly, they have the same boyfriend, which makes him A) really really stupid, and B) kind of a dick for cheating (even though it’s the same girl), but whatever! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20BZID081Vk

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mily-Miguel/592457099 Mily Miguel

I love the look of Jem, wild hair, rockstar, glam. I remember the pictures but funny I never saw it :)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

I like that sound too, especially giggling little girl at a sleepover all hyped up from staying up late.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

It does seem that the best cartoons were the classics, now it’s not the same, cause it’s more like mass production than quality. Ahh the good old days…

  • Leverlock_25

    Hi everyone! :)

    — Forgive easily, or hold grudges?
It depends. If someone really upset me, I would not stop myself from being hurt. But in order to make sure they don’t continue to hurt me, I’d have to let it go. And when i DO forgive, i simply lower my expectations of that person, instead of “punishing” both of us because they didn’t meet them.

    — Favourite childhood cartoon?
I am a FIRM believer in the understated intelligence of cartoons. I still love them too. But when i was a kid, hmmm…On tv, Roaddrunner & Cyote… On VHS, Fantasia (a Disney animation to orchesta) –> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daGvOZ50YAo

    — Sound I love the most?
Some goood instrumental guitar, a crackling fire, & my text msg alert – when Mario gets a coin in the air–> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfkcI8dhfsQ

    — Favourite day-off activity?
I like to laze around the house at my own leisure, but also accomplish something (like cleaning, writing, cooking) so I don’t feel completely unproductive or sloth-like.

    — Food I absolutely can’t stand?
    Oysters. BARF.

Tatiana, I’ve been meaning to ask you… I’m thinking about getting a nutritionist cert (not registered dietician since I’ve already been through 6 yrs of university). I think I remember you saying you’ve done it, has anyone else?

Any recommendations or advice? Im mostly interested for personal use…

    Thanks! :)

  • 1Ivana

Sometimes it is great,,,but sometimes I feel like my greatest enemy…:)
but as I said, we are strong and we are fighters so…;)

    Hello!
    1) I couldn’t understand why it was so hard for people to forgive each other. I would advise friends to just “let it go” and move on, that is until I experienced first hand what it felt like to be hurt and betrayed by a friend. Then I realized it wasn’t as easy, and it for me it was a process that took about a year and a half! It was definitely a great lesson for me and I think forgiveness is a very powerful thing.
    2) My favorite cartoon was Tom and Jerry :)
    3) My favorite sound is the ocean…..
    4) My favorite thing to do on my day off is to “veg out” in front of the TV. I NEVER get to do that because I am always so busy, but once in a while I get to lay on the couch in my pj’s with snacks and watch movies. It’s a rare thing so I look forward to it!
    5) i’m with you on this one. Fast food like Burger King and Wendy’s gross me out!
    Have a wonderful afternoon!!!

  • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

    Hello my minglers :)))

I’m running around a little today, I will be back later on to read through all of your mingles

    Kisses and Hugs,

  • http://www.facebook.com/felinemenina Anna Carolina F

Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges?
° I forgive easily (it takes less than 1 minutes or so :) ) and absolutely true what Tatiana said!same thing with “ask for forgiveness”-do it and you take responsibility for everything you do! when there is no clue in moments of hurt I reflected myself .

What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?
    °cat´s eye

What sound do you love the most?
    °a “non-sound” : stillness when snow falls

What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?
    °hiking

What is the food you absolutely can’t stand?
° okay this sounds weird: but there are two things why I can´t stand certain food. because it tastes bad or because it makes me feel bad. so same here as Tati. McDonald´s food tastes like crab! and canned food, too. Second meat is something that makes me feel bad-so I leave it out as long as possible.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Stillness is a beautiful sound, I love getting away into the nature so I don’t hear the cars and air planes everywhere.

  • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

    1.
I tend to forgive easily. To forgive is not for
the offender, but for my peace of mind. Also, just because you forgave a
person, it doesn’t mean you have or need to break bread with them.

    2.
I was obsessed with the Speed Racer as a kid. I
wanted to own the car and be a race car drive.

    3.
The sound of a heavy rain fall soothes my soul
(without the thunder and lightning). Heavy rain fall gives me sense of the
    earth been cleanse.

    4.
On a short day off I prefer going on a long
hike, then reading a good novel afterwards.

    5.
Canned Hotdogs and overcooked vegetables. The first
time I saw canned hotdog in Canada, I mentally could not comprehend that people
    enjoyed eating it.

    • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

Canned hotdogs???? That just sounds wrong :) Never heard of it and I’m Canadian

Totally agree with your answer on forgive or forget, well said.

      • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

I just asked my hubby, what I call hotdogs are little saugages in a can.

I think that’s most people have problem forgiving because the think was you forgive, it means you start having a relationship with that person.

        • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

Ah yes, those vienna sausage things, hate those as well.

Yes, I agree, forgiveness is one thing but the trust has to be earned all over again

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

I totally get you with the overcooked veggies, yuck, they taste like paper.

  • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

    1) I am a forgiving person but I will not forget, so trusting someone again will take time even though I have forgiven.
    2) Huge fan of scooby doo, still am. Watch all the old classics with my kids now :)
    3) Have to say the sound of children’s laughter, especially when it is uncontrollable laughter, I can’t help but laugh as well
    4) Hmmmmm “a day off” Well, I am a stay at home mother of 4 young daughters…. do I even know what a day off is????
    5) Gotta say it’s liver for me, just can’t do it….. fast food is a definite no no, but do we really rank that in there with the food guide :)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Four children, you must be a superwoman, I always said that women with more than 2 are super humans.

      • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

Super woman or crazy woman??? lol Sometimes I do feel quite insane :) I have been truly blessed with wonderful kids though, can’t complain :)

        • 1Ivana

          Super woman for sure:)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

If liver is cook properly, it’s quite delicious with sauteed onions and muchrooms. It was my late dad’s favourite.

      • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

Yes, I have tried it like that as well. My husband is a chef and very good at what he does. He cooked it for me but I just can’t get past the liver don’t know what it is and I always go back and give it another try only to have same result :) Who knows maybe I will eventually grow to like it :)

        • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

          A chef’s wife…you lucky gal.

      • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

I like liver too, but I think it’s because in Russia I grew up eating it.

  • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

I love crafts, it’s such an amazing way to express our selves and gives us an outlet.

I totally agree, once you start eating good foods, the processed food cannot be handled by the body.

  • Michele

    1. I forgive. I don’t hold grudges. I don’t hold back either. if you make me mad, I let you know, but I move on quickly.
    2. Bugs Bunny was my favorite cartoon. When I was growing up we didn’t have 24 hours of cartoon on a network. We only caught cartoons on Saturday morning. I never missed it.
    3. I love the sound of the waves at the beach.
    4. My favorite thing to do on my day off, or any free time for that matter, is baking and cooking.
    5. McDonalds is the fast food I can’t handle any more. I remember growing up and it was a treat to go there. I competed back when I was in my late 20′s. I remember trying a Big Mac after my competition and getting utterly sick. Throwing up, upset stomach. I haven’t touched one since then (18 years). My 3 boys love it, but it is a rare treat for them. We don’t go there on a regular basis.
    Michele

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

It is very nice to just forgive, it’s definitely not worth holding the grudge. ( I used to love bugs bunny too :)

  • Trish

1.Forgive. Once something is done, it cannot be undone – so why dwell on it? It may take time to earn my trust back, but I will not hold a grudge.
2.We didn’t have a TV when I was a kid. I used to go next door – an older couple lived there, and they let me go over every day to watch a show called ‘Jackanory’. It wasn’t a cartoon, but it was a kids show in England.
3.Cats purring! Rain, wind, lightening….I love a good strom! So relaxing!! The sound of the ocean….
4.Days off consist of remodelling my house! I love to cook and try new recipes, and love to read too.
5.I HATE lima beans, fried food, most fast food, and anything that feels like a slug going down your throat (pudding, jello, custard etc.) YUCK! I remember the first McDonalds I went to in England….I was about 14, and didn’t like it even then!!

    • 1Ivana

Yuck..Pudding..for the same reason..I thought I was the only one! :)

Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? – I don’t even know what a grudge is. What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? – No tv growing up, and didn’t read for a loooonnng time so I guess I don’t know. What sound do you love the most? – When all the noise stops the sound of silence is very powerful. What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? – I love to build stuff, I have a nice shop to hide in.What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? – The combo of stewed tomatoes, noodles and hamburger creeps me out.

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

what ?????? you don’t like italian food???? come and visit, I’ll change your mind

    • tee_w

Guess you don’t like hamburger helper then, lol

      • Esal1

        Dearest Tati,

You have just made me the envy of every guy and gal here! I have no idea what a light bug is, but I will take it as the highest of compliments!

    1. I used to hold grudges but I learn to forgive and let it go. It’s better for me anyway
    2. Hmm..I used to watch He-Man cause in the end of the story they always have a moral about the story of the day also I love to watch Japanese anime (still do now..haha)
    3. I love the sound of wind chime and the sound of rain drops :)
    4. On the day off, I just love to surf the web about fitnes, food, and comic books :D
    5. I can’t stand those cookies/cakes that sold at grocery stores in a package..ugh!

  • tee_w

Hmmmm I’m not even sure how to answer these questions today!
Do you forgive easily or hold grudges – that depends on whether a person was deliberately mean or unintentional. If a person is deliberately horrid then it takes me a tad longer, but I forgive them for my peace of mind but I feel sorry for them to live with such poison in their life and I will have learned from the experience & will guard myself from them. If it was unintentional or uninformed then forgiveness is almost immediate though hurt feelings might take a bit to get over.
This summer I had all three of these happen to me – a woman I worked with warped everything I said to her and changed it into lies etc. I forgave her almost immediately because I think she is someone with a hearing problem, or an attention problem who is easily influenced by other people, and I feel sorry for her. But I have learned to be wary when around her.
The other woman is a woman who works with me daily, who has attacked me verbally and makes up things and lies very easily. And I believe influenced the other woman. She either pretends I’m not there, glares at me, or does the stare right through you and slam things around. I forgive her as I feel very sad for her to live in such anger, its so sad to be so poisonous. I protect myself when around her.
The last woman is a very sweet woman who inadvertantly made a comment that hurt my feelings, totally unintentional. i forgave her immediately but needed to distance myself for a short time for my feelings to heal, and all is good again!
I always do my best to be nice and friendly to everyone and to smile no matter how awful the person can be in hopes that some of my positivity will rub off on them!

Favourite cartoon as a kid – We only had cartoons on saturday mornings or walt disney on sunday nights, not always cartoons. But I loved Wil E coyote and the roadrunner, bugs and daffy, elmer fudd, porky pig, tazmanian devil, speedy gonzalas, tom & gerry, loved snagglepuss, boo boo and yogi bear, mickey, goofy donald duck, sylvester and tweety bird – is that enough! Lol

Sound I love the most – tough to pick one. Babies laughing, cats purring, rain, wind chimes, especially bamboo ones, the sound of a page turning in a good book, the sound of my husband breathing next to me when we are sleeping (not the snoring but the quiet breathing). And the sound of my gymboss going off at the end of the workout!

Favourite thing to do on my day off – absolutely nothing!

Food I can’t stand – unfortunately too many to list – bananas, watermelon, ham, brussel sprouts, cabbage, turnips, shall I continue? Lol

    • Kate_CZ

gymboss going off! so true! :)

    • Diana

cat purring, rain and gymboss going off, I can’t agree more! :)

      • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Ahh yes, the gymboss going off is a pleasure to hear :)

    • jt

I totally understand your first answer, I don’t know what makes some people carry such venom but it’s sad :/ (second example you gave). Anyway life will eventually show them (or not) a better way to live, better to them and everyone else around them… hopefully… It’s my wish.

I’ve bumped into people like that in my life and I can’t say I hate them, even though nothing really happened to make me change my mind, it just sits in the past with a “warning sign”. Somehow I do believe in what I said before, or that they’ll have to deal with some “karma” to realize that’s not the way to live (some cases will remain stubborn). It’s not my job to show them the way, if’s life’s. Of course I’m careful about those people, but sometimes your heart can see that some people can REALLY change, although not most of them.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Darn, I totally forgot to include Tom and Jerry, I used to be obsessed with that cartoon, so funny and brings good memories.

I think you are the first person I met who don’t like bananas and watermelon, I used to hate cabbage too when I was a kid, just a smell of it made me sick, and now I love it :)

  • tee_w

Am I the only one who sees a video of a little russian girl in a diaper singing and not a middle aged man with a propellor in his back?

    • Diana

I don’t want to disappoint you but I can’t see any singing Russian girl in a diaper ;) (what kinda coffee did you take this morning? I wanna get some! XD)

      • 1Ivana

        hahaha

      • tee_w

So weird, I was trying to watch Tatiannas cartoon, because it sounded vaguely familiar and the whole thing is a little blonde girl in a diaper singing in russian about her house and toys! My 18 yr old son came over to me to see what I was watching lol. On the brighter side I did recognize quite a few words she says, & so did he! Ha ha

Its still there though, maybe its my ipad, have to look later on my computer, it does seem like a playlist as another video started automatically when that one finished.

Oh, and I don’t drink coffee! Lol

        • tee_w

OK I’m home on my computer, and Karlsson is there! lol so weird

          • tee_w

Back on my ipad and the video is a woman in a gym now! Lol

  • Courtney

Why is it always the people you’re closest to that say the worst things? That’s an absolutely terrible thing to say. I can completely relate. When I was in college my two roommates started telling our mutual friends that I was a slut and man-eater. I’m not sure what I did to make them so upset with me, but it was awful. The maliciousness of it made it really hard to forgive them, and to be honest, I never really did. I think it’s hardest to forgive the people you trusted the most who break your heart.

    • Naomi

Sounds like you two had some horrid experiences with people! In my opinion the kind of people you describe is not worth your precious time and company. I’ve had more than my share of this and the lesson I learnt is “Don’t surround yourself with people that don’t want you to be happy.” It is so not worth it… Forgiveness should be spared for those who do wrong, but not because they intentionally wanted to hurt you.

      • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

        Very very wise words Naomi!

  • Courtney

I loved Reading Rainbow! I used to watch that and Wishbone every afternoon after school.

  • Chris Lee

okay, i can weigh in on this one.
    1. i forgive easily. probably too easily at times, but that’s the way i am.
    2. we weren’t allowed to watch cartoons when i was a kid, but when i got a chance it was probably the flintstones
    3. i have several – trains in the distance, rain on a tent, and the complete stillness after a good snowfall, especially at night when nobody’s out.
    4. 2 things – hiking if the weather is nice and building stuff if the weather is crappy. i’m not good at building stuff, but i like doing it. every year my wife makes my daughter’s halloween costume and i make my son’s. kind of a tradition now i guess, but the older they get, the more complicated they want their costumes to be. last year he and i made a wearable darth vader helmet out of lego! best day ever!
    5. brussels sprouts, hands down. disgusting. there isn’t enough bacon in the world to make me like them!

    • Gerri Lee Schafer

lol Chris….I saw a bacon brussel sprout recipe a couple of weeks ago that actually looked pretty good….but I like them on their own

  • Christian

    1) I use to hold grudges but somehow since i mate my husband i learn to let go, and its such a nice feeling!
    2) I never watch cartoon as a kid but now i love to watch it with my kids Barbapapa Flintstones Der Kleine Maulwurf ( its about a mole and his friends)
    3) The sound of rain, birds in the morning and my daughter laughter, i have never met anyone who laughs so much!
    4) Absolutely nothing but since i’m a stay at home mom of 2 that doesn’t happen often. When i have a weekend off I love to go out with hubby and go running with him.
    5) Milk and any milk product except some cheese!

    • Diana

@Kate_CZ:disqus and @Ricky29:disqus an other fan of the Little Mole! :D

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

I can’t stand milk too, the sight of it makes me ill and the taste is even worst.

  • http://twitter.com/lithiumchic girly so groovy

Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges?

It really depends on who the person is. The people I keep close I forgive pretty easily. Everyone else? Grudge.

What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?

Tied between Hey Arnold and CatDog.

What sound do you love the most?

The sound of the coffee pot in the morning while I’m in bed wondering if I can handle the day. The coffee is there for me, man!

What is your favorite thing to do on your day off?

Lounging. TV, video games, internet… nothing else.

What is the food you absolutely can’t stand?

    Pork chops. Gross.

OMG, I love the sound of coffee pot in the morning, and the smell, I literally can’t sleep at night just thinking about it.

I forgive, learn from the hurt, surround them in a loving light and release it to the universe.
    Love the Pink Panther!
I love the sound of midnight trains and the ocean. Also my love saying those 3 magic words, “Let’s go home.”
I love to wander on my days off with a camera and a notebook.
Everyone seems to love Prime Rib, I can’t stand it! Lol

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

I think I’ve only tried prime rib a few times and I did’t really like it either.

  • http://www.facebook.com/janet.williams.739 Janet Williams

Wise words, Naomi! Personally I don’t understand the mean streak some women have toward other women. Is it simple envy? I feel we should support one another. I treasure my friendships and would never inrentionally inflict pain. I’m old-ish (48) and find I no longer wish to waste my precious time on negative people. There are some relatives even that I love from a distance.

    1. Do you forgive easily or do you hold grudges? — Most of the time I’m more than glad to forgive and forget. But god help me if I’m forced to actually say I-forgive-you to someone who continues to do wrong (towards others) or doesn’t even acknowledge/hold themselves accountable for their actions. It’s not that I dwell on it or hold ill will, but that’s still a bit of pride that I’ve yet to get past. :/
    2. What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? — Winnie The Pooh, Gummi Bears, and The Real Ghostbusters.
    3. What sound do you love the most? — My best friend’s voice :) makes me smile and gives me peace.
    4. What is your favorite thing to do on your day off? — Depends, if I’d been stuck with dull, stagnant work I’d crave some lively activity. But after something tedious and tiring, I’d spend my free time relaxing at home. :)
    5. What is the food you absolutely can’t stand? — Pickles, by far x0 such a foul thing to do to lovely fragrant cucumbers!!!

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

I love that your favorite sound is your best friends voice, what a beautiful thing to say. I have an amazing best friend too, she lives in LA and when we talk and I listen to her talk It just overloads me with joy.

    1. I used to hold grudges but not because I wanted to do vendetta, it was because I didn’t know how to let go, I thought forgive was like being agreed with what they have done to you, that was before I discovered yoga and buddhism, now I know hold on is not good, forgive and forget doesn’t mean you agreed, it means you can accept what happened, learn from it and let go :)

    2. My favorite cartoon was Heidi! omg, I loved her so much!

    3. The ocean, the waves, I’m from Barcelona, Spain, I couldn’t live in a place wehere there is no sea, I neeed it! I also love the sound of the Spanish guitar, it’s magic.

    4. I love yoga, it changed my life so I do it as much as I can, not power yoga, I mean mind, relaxing yoga. I also like to read, dance, and go to the cinema. And sleep, I love when I can have one of those day of doing absolutelty nothing, just being lazy.

    5. Lamb, rabbit, pork, I feel to much compassion for animals, I’m not vegetarian but I can’t eat mammals.

  • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

    Hi girlie :)

Welcome to Loving Fit :), I am very happy to get to know you as well :)

    OMG you don’t like mushrooms

    1) I do forgive easily, altho I do remember mean acts which I still doubt about.. (why they were done)
    2) Nils Holgersson :)
    3) There’s a new bird in our country which I really like hearing her Tweetees :)
    4) Relax, Listen to music, Play the organ, Read, Breath the nature… Generally I would like to be exposed to new & exciting content/issues all day long :)
    5) Well……..anything unhealthy for my body would make me feel bad after I eat it so that’s why I can’t stand anything which makes me feel bad after I eat it..!

    Great Day Guys..:)
