My Trip To The Haunted City

I am not a very big fan of taking trips because I love being at my house, unless it is to Paris ( to which I am still dreaming to go ). I have to admit I am a bit of a Hermit, I never really go out and I love being alone. Once in a while my friends try to drag me out of the house, and only 1 out of 10 times they succeed :p.

I finally decided to take a fun trip because I just needed to get away. We went to the world’s famous haunted town St. Augustine, It is the Oldest City in the Nation.

Plyometric Training

Plyometrics is my favorite type of Cardio Workout, not only because it comes from Russia, but because it’s a great way to burn fat and build muscle.

Dr. Yuri Verkhoshansky is credited for creating the principle of plyometrics which was called “shock training” at the time.

Back in Moscow when I was a figure skater, we trained using plyometrics every day, this is where I first learned how to workout.

If you watch Tv and pay attention to commercials you will notice that every few advertisements there an add for a weight loss pills, or a diet. The ironic part is that they always followed by a fast food commercial.

Most diets advertised do not provide adequate nutrition, therefore they can leave the dieter in a poor state of health, with damaged metabolism. Especially when they are the extremes, it surprises me how far people will go to loose weight. Even if you do end up loosing weight on an extreme diet, your body will develop a lower capacity for burning calories, this is why everyone who does loose weight gains it back.
