Meet Me On Monday

Hello My Darlings,

Happy Monday! And welcome to our 19th edition of Monday Mingle, a question answer game we play every Monday to get to know each other better. Today we have a very special edition, because today all the questions were asked by Miguel ( my husband, aka the quiet camera guy ). He will also give you his answers and I will give you mine.

And now, here are today’s questions:

  • If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?

  • What are you listening to in your car?

  • Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?

  • What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?

  • If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?

Our Answers:

Q – If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?

Meet Me On Monday

My Answer:

Since I used to be an athlete, I would still pick being an athlete. It is definitely hard but it gives your an internal strength and most of the time a physical strength, it also gives you a phycological strength.

I’d also say an actress because I think it’s an amazing profession, but I know how hard it is and I personally don’t think I can do it, because I am too emotional.

Miguel’s Answer:

I would like to be an athlete, a tennis player!

Q – What are you listening to in your car?

Meet Me On Monday

My Answer:

I always listen to some kind of audio book, meditation music or my own thoughts. I like peace and quiet.

Miguel’s Answer:

I am currently listening to a lot of U2, I love U2, it is the first live concert that I ever saw and ever since I felt a connection with a group, and I love their music and lyrics.

Q – Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?

Meet Me On Monday

My Answer:

I really love the endings of Matrix and Matrix Revolutions ( I guess you can count that as one ). I also loved the last quote ending scene from Pans Labyrinth.

Miguel’s Answer:

Out of the top of my head three movies that I really enjoyed the endings of are Avatar, The Matrix and The Usual Suspects.

Q – What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?

Meet Me On Monday

My Answer:

My doggie Lulu aka Donia Papsita makes me smile, her little face is just too adorable.

Miguel’s Answer:

Something that I like to do daily is reflect on fun memories, they always make me smile.

Q – If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?

Meet Me On Monday

My Answer:

I would ask the Dalai Lama what does he consider an enlightened being to be like, and does he consider him self and enlightened being.

Miguel’s Answer:

I would ask him what he dreams about while he sleeps.

Let’s Mingle My Lovies!

Me and Miguel will both be reading all of your answers,

Hugs,

Tati and Miguel

First! but I think tee beat me to it. I think both of us were on facebook the same time when this post went up.

Hello Miquel, I’m happy that you joined us on this crazy game.

    1. I would like to be two musicians (Tom Wait and Lauryn Hill).

    2. Today I had the audio Cd of David Sedaris “When you are engulfed in flames” playing.

    3. The shawshank redemption, Cinema Paradiso, what happened was.

Miquel, the usual suspect was a great movie. I did not see that ending coming. I’ve only seem the first Matrix and I really liked it. I was worried the sequels would be bad so I’ve stayed a way from seeing them.

    4. People, I smile when I pass people.

    5. What keeps him up at night.

    Well, I’m going to bed…

    • kate_cz

Yeeey, we both picked The Shawshank Redemption. Such a great movie from the very beginning till the end, huh?

      • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

I’ve watched it more than 30 times, and not always from the beginning. I’ll stop anything I’m doing to watch it whenever it’s on tv.

      • TessuCroft

It´s one of my all time favourites! Love it. =D

      • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

A classic!!! Just one of those extremely satisfying movies, on so many levels. Also, I want Morgan Freeman to narrate my life!

    • tee_w

Ha ha, I might of beat you here but I can’t answer the questions! Lol they are always so hard, and usually expect me to remember something!

      • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

You are so funny Tee :)

      • kate_cz

Hard questions, hard workouts… That´s how we roll ;)

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

        lol

      • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

You’re a riot. LMAO when I thought we’re both heading here.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

You are always up late like me :) ( I was really enjoying David Lynch Audio Book today :), Thank you girlie :)) ,

Miguel is already sleeping, he will be joining us here tomorrow :), I’m the night own :)))

      • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Ha! Really? And here I thought you were a night owl because he probably gets home so late every night from his show. I was a night owl like you in college–I used to go to bed at 5am, sleep until 9am, class until 2 or 3, then I would take a nap for about 3 hours in the afternoon. Worked well for me then, not so much now. Usually 12-8 works for me. :)

        • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Yeah he does get home late, and passes out right away, I stay up. For some reason I really love the night time, I even go as crazy as go for walks around 1 am for an hour or so, I just enjoy the quiet of the night, not so many cars or noise, makes my head clear out.

      • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

Usually I’m in bed my 9pm, but since I quit my job I’ve started staying up way too late. I hope to remedy this habit and find a more reasonable sleeping time between 9pm – 1am. It’s looking like 10:30pm is the happy spot. David lynch voice is soothing to me, I find his artistic process interesting. Every time I listen to that audio book I find something new to take from it.

    • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

Shawshank Redemption, such an awesome movie.

      • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

        Agreed.

    • Miguel

Hi, Happy to be here. I like your answer to question 4 :)

  • kate_cz

It´s a beautiful day! I also like U2. I lived in Ireland for one year and whenever I hear them it reminds me of the wild irish nature. Really beautiful.

    Good Morning!
It´s a pleasure to get to know Miguel, too. Thank you for playing Mingle with us, sir!
    My answers:

WHO WOULD YOU BE – Athlete!
LISTENING – I don´t have a car, but I ride a bike a lot in the city and lately I´m addicted to Parov Stelar.
MOVIE ENDINGS – Gran Torino, Some Like It Hot, The Shawshank Redemption
SMILE – Probably my animals too. Also a good workout makes me smile (not laugh but a satisfactory smile)
DALAI LAMA – I don´t know… What makes him smile, for example.

Have a nice start of another day, everyone!

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Have a Beautiful Monday Kate the Cool Chick!

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

The ending to Gran Torino was a total surprise.

    • Miguel

Thank You Kate! Shawshank Redemption! What a great movie!! Could have easily picked that one had I remembered it.

  • 1Ivana

    Hi there,

so tomorrow I have to go to get my results from the biopsy, and on a post op control..and I know everything will be great!

I am not working out…it has been 2 weeks from the surgery, I tried some stretching routines, but it didn’t felt right and it made me dizzy so I decided just not to do anything until I am fully recovered..

    And my answers:

1.most definitely an actor…I have it in my blood , my father has directed some amateur plays, I am often in theaters, I have been doing some plays myself, I just feel natural on stage…so it is an easy choice for me

2.in my car I am listening to a local radio, a group of young and funny people are working there, and it is almost like I have some friends with me in the car, and they are playing some music form me and we are talking about stuff that we all enjoy

3.movie endings..oh..usual suspect, green mile (all time favourite movie),memento

    4. smile…my dog (it is actually my parents dog, but…)

    5. question for DL…I have no idea…I think I would be so much under impression and all the words would be too much…?!

so that is it, wish me luck for tomorrow…

    kisses to you all

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

Here is to good news from the biopsy. <3

    • Miguel

Keep positive! Wishing all the best :)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

      Kisses sweetheart :)

  • Katerina Gjorgievska

Hi Tati, interesting questions as always :)

    1. If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why? – I would definitely like to be a singer, I just love to entertain people and I love singing. My favorite singer is Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) and every time I see him perform I can feel his passion and the amazing energy he receives from the audience. I wish I could be in his shoes while he sings in front of so many people.

    2. What are you listening to in your car?
I don’t drive, but I like to take long walks. Recently, I have been listening to Ted Nugent a lot :) It’s getting really cold in my town, and his musics helps me feel energized!

    3. Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?
I also love Guillermo del Toro movies. I rely love the ending of “Devil’s backbone”. I also like the endings of “Requiem for a dream” (one of the best movies I have ever seen, even though it really disturbed me) and “Kill Bill”.

    4. What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?
Cats, especially if they like to cuddle :)

    5. If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
Does he ever feel powerless when he witness injustice and what is the best way to deal with that feeling without getting frustrated.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Me and Miguel have been talking about the injustice and problems in the world in general lately, and there is something we both understand which I think can keep us from getting frustrated, it’s being in balance no matter what comes happiness or sadness, it’s accepting both equally. Quite easy to say, but much harder to apply.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003784680720 Zarinda Bee

If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?
Athlete/actor = ballerina – always dreamt of being a dancer since I was little but then got body shy when puberty hit so I gave up my pointe shoes and leotard. Biggest regret ever!

What are you listening to in your car?
The radio mostly – usually 80s rock because I can sing loudly to it with no one telling me to shush!

Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?

matrix, lotr and i capture the castle. I won’t list the ones where I really enjoyed the ending because it signalled the end of a very bad film >.<

What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?
    my labradoodle

If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
what his 3 wishes would be if he had a genie in a lamp

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Gosh I’d love to know the wishes of DL, I wonder… It will probably by world peace, and he would give the other wishes to someone else.

  • Annebel Wind

If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?

I don’t know if I would like to devote my life to just one of these things.. I do sing with my family, we had a performance yesterday, I workout with you Tati.. And look more like an athlete every day.. I love to have different things in my life.. I would like to have the nerve to act..

What are you listening to in your car?

I listen to a lot of different music. It can be: rock, pop, house, dance music like R&B or reggaeton, but also meditation music..

Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?
This is a hard question..I have seen soooo many good movies and like a lot of them.. Just saw super 8 the ending is really nice.. A bit emotional..

What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?

Mijn cats, my family.. People who show kindness to strangers.. Something that seems to be rare these days..

If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
I do not know.. Maybe if I may join him for meditation?

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

That is so fun that you sing with our family, that is a beautiful thing to do as a family!

  • http://www.dheanadavid.wordpress.com/ Dheana

Happy Monday everyone! Nice to have you with us Miguel!

If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?
A gymnist – flexibilty, strength, poise and total control of your body. I’ve LOVE that!

What are you listening to in your car?
Either silence or voice messages from my best friend. We live on opposite ends of the country now but still leave countless messages for one another so it feels like we’re closer than ever. It’s such a
fun way to enjoy my commute!

Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?
Miguel, these are tough questions! I have a brain that doesn’t hold movies very well. Half the time I have to ask my husband if we saw this one or that one, so I’ll have to pass on this question for now (though you’ve listed two of my favourite films, the Matrix and The Usual Suspects).

What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?
Since I don’t have a pet right now, I’d have to say words. I have a chalk board in my office and each week I fill it with positive words that start with the next letter of the alphabet. This week is ‘U’. It keeps my brain focused positively and when I look up I see words like “ultimate, uplifting, unconditional” etc.

If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
I would ask him for a hug! :)

    • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

I love that idea of positive words using a letter of the alphabet each day… I will give that a whirl :)

    • Miguel

Thank You! Happy to take part. I like your answers. Especially your answers to questions 4 and 5

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Ahh Dheana, what a sweet thing to ask a Dalai Lama for a hug, I think that is something I would love as well.

Hi Tati and hi everybody, here are my answers:
    1) If I could be an actress, singer or athlete I’d probably like to be a “not too popular” actress. Not too popular because I am a very private person and I would like to be able to have a private life without being followed around by intrusive paparazzi. That said, the idea of acting fascinates me.
    2) What music am I listening to (though not in my car): I go from Mozart to Justin Timberlake.
    3) Ending of which 3 movies I liked the most. I agree with Miguel that The Usual Suspect’s ending is quite amazing. I’d probably add “The Others” (a ghost story seen from “the other” side) and Roberto Benigni’s “Life is beautiful”. But there are lots of others, like “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The bridges of Madison County”.
    4) What makes me smile throughout the day that is not a person or TV. Dogs.
    5) If I could ask the Dalai Lama one question, I guess I would not know what to ask him.
Tati, in order to give you a hand with your huge amount of work maybe your viewers could help you to come up with Monday Mingle’s questions. I’d volunteer with pleasure (I love to ask questions). :)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

      Hi Girl!

I love Mozart too, it totally calms and centers me! I love your idea of you guys helping me with Monday Mingle, I’m gonna start asking you guys on Facebook from now on :)

  • MaiCarInMtl

Good morning! Today has to be a good day – it’s going to be unseasonably warm outside today so I might as well enjoy it as much as I can by taking a nice long walk at lunch time. I hope it’s nice everywhere else for all the other blog readers. :)

If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?
I would either be a swimmer or a gymnast – they have amazing bodies, such determination and so much endurance, it’s crazy! I’m not big on actors and such and wouldn’t want to be someone else – everyone is their own person, worthy of being themselves.

What are you listening to in your car?
I don’t own a car and use public transit to get around (unless my husband and I have errands, then we use the car). I’m currently on a reading kick. Otherwise, not being too impressed by the mainstream music coming out the last few years, I stick to podcasts. I particularly look forward to weekly episodes of Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me and This American Life.

Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?
I can barely remember if I even saw a certain movie – sometimes we get halfway through and I say “I think we’ve already seen this one” – which usually gets me this look form my husband (as in “it took you this long to remember?”). I can only particularly recall 2 endings I really liked: the end of Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulin (cute ending) and the ending of Gladiator (yes, I cry and it’s sad, but it’s a beautiful ending).

What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?
My cat. She always greets me at the door when I come home (of course, she wants food) but she likes me to pick her up and carry her around the apartment over my shoulder like a baby. She sits with us at (not on!!) the table at dinner time, cuddles with us when we watch TV. I wish she could live as long as us – I never want any other pet.

If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
What does he think is the world’s biggest issue and how we can all work, as individuals, to overcome this issue. As in actually give us almost like a procedure. Unfortunately, one solution such as “love one another” doesn’t seem to be all that easy to put into effect. So not just identifying a solution but how to implement it effectively… Sorry for all the business terms here, I think I spend too much time discussing work with my husband over the weekend! Woops! ;)

    • http://www.lovingfit.com/ Lvette_1

I went to see the gladiator with a very closed mind, but I was pleasantly suprised. I cried , especially during his dream of finding his way back home. Russell Crowe was good in this movie, he made me feel in an action movie.

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

It’s a very good idea to listen to podcasts, it’s always good to learn something. I’ve been skipping on mainstream music lately, cause it seems to me like a the same tune playing in every song, and it always has to do with some kind of booty shaking, or money making, or making it rain.

  • Zivenaberry

#1.) Actor, singer or athlete? I would probably choose singer. I LOVE music. Music can make anything better. It has the chance to touch so many people.

#2.) Right now I have Imagine Dragons in the car. Love them right now.

#3.) UP is such a fabulous movie. It tells a great love story. Definitely a favorite movie of mine. I honestly can’t think of much else. I tend to watch comedies over and over. such as Dumb & Dumber, Officespace, Groundhog Day, etc. I did just watch Arthur Christmas last night and it had a terrific ending. Ok, the third I’d say is Matilda. Such a terrific little movie!

#4.) Music. I guess that can be seen as a person, but without music I’d be a lifeless shell. Ok, coffee. My morning coffee makes me smile.

#5.) What is your favorite meal? —- Honestly I have no clue. I’d more than likely just say something like “DUH” if I ever met him.

    • http://www.amway.ca/VioletSavoury Violet

      :) love your movie choices

  • Gerri Lee Schafer

acchhhh…thinking I should wake up more first, but I’ll give it a go….hello Miguel….nice to meet you..are you going to give us a demo of your airborne talents one day?????

1/ athlete for sure….can’t sing or act and don’t like to be the center of attention…plus I like having a body that is in shape

2/ music in the car….let’s see, right now on my stick I have Billy Idol, Johny Lang, a bunch of spanish guitar, a lot of “new” music that I don’t know who it is….I like everything I guess

3/ 3 movie ending favorites? I watch so many movies I can’t even remember the beginnings…lol

4/ make me smile? the beauty of all the little things around me

5/ ask the Dalai Lama? no idea….maybe just ask “why” and see what he comes up with…lol

    • Miguel

Hi! It’s nice meeting you all also! Yea, if you guys would like. I have a couple of videos of me performing. Maybe we’ll post one, one of these days. We would have to transfer them from the dvd’s.

      • Gerri Lee Schafer

yes please….would love to see them :)

Hello, everyone! I’ll join in and take a part of this Monday’s Mingle.:) Here are my answers:

    1. If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?

I think I’d choose either athlete or an actor. Initially, I wanted to go to acting academy, but then I chickened out and left my talent uncut. Such a shame, sigh …

    2. What are you listening to in your car?

I don’t own a car, but borrow it from my boyfriend or mum. I always turn on the radio and search with a channel with lots of music on.

    3. Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?

Oh, dear, can’t remember … But reading through some of the comments, I can agree with you, Tati, about The Matrix movie. I LOVE it! :) And Up is also a great animated movie. Oh, and Marley and me is heart warming … s well as sad. Has a great ending, though. :)

    4. What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?

Either puppies, kittens, cubs … young animals in general (apart from insects, which I am disgusted by, ugh!), or if I come accross something witty in a book, on the internet etc.

    5. If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
Hmmmmm … probably something about death and whether he thinks there is afterlife. That’s something it was bothering me for quite some time (untill I found something better to do). :)

I have to say it was fun answering all the questions. And I’m sure I’m not the only person that’d like to see the quiet camera man in front of it once. ;) Have a great week, everyone!

    • Miguel

Thanks :) It Was fun for me as well! Really enjoying reading all of your answers! Have a great week also!

    • http://www.lovingfit.com Tatianna

Have a wonderful week dear! Thank you for joining our mingle :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

    Yayyy!!! How fun!!!

**If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?**

Well, if I’m starting from scratch I would choose being an actor, but I am one already, so if I can get that as a freebie and choose another, I would choose being a singer. I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS wanted to have a beautiful voice. I can sing, but I’m not a singer. I can dance, too, but I never had the voice to be able to do musical theatre. Tatianna, you say you are very emotional and that’s actually a wonderful thing for an actor. One thing I love about this vocation is that it goes hand in hand with learning how to be a good human being. If you do it right, you learn to detach in a healthy way from things outside of your control. It also teaches you to not compare yourself to others, to let go of envy and jealousy, etc. So, emotions need to be handled very well in the job-searching process (OMG it took me FOREVER to not cry and cry and cry over everything I didn’t get, and sometimes I still DO cry!), but having a heart on your sleeve is great in the art of it. Of course, I think that’s true of all kinds of art.

**What are you listening to in your car?**

When I started dating my boyfriend 7.5 years ago I was in a daze for a week, and one day I left my car unlocked and my stereo was stolen. So now I mostly just listen to my ipod (only one earbud!) and it’s usually podcast: This American Life, WTF, Snap Judment or Radiolab.

***Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?***

My number one favorite ending is in Life Is Beautiful (La Vita E’ Bella) by Benigni. I have seen that movie a dozen or so times and I always weep at the end, with the…don’t want to give it away…the kid and the thing. Gotta go with Miguel on Usual Suspects–one of the BEST endings ever, even though I don’t really love the movie. Garden State–not a twist, but terribly romantic.

**What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?**

Usually a silly joke that someone had made that strikes me later in the day at a random time. Oh…does that count as people? If it does then probably the little doggies that come with their owners to my work, or the beautiful trees and plants lining my neighborhood.

**If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?**

Oy. Probably something silly like what makes him feel like a child again. I saw that wonderful film you suggested, 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama, and I got a lot of my questions of him answered there.

    :D

    • 1Ivana

OMG you are an actor? that is so great!!

    • Miguel

Hi Kendra, thank you for reminding me of ” Life Is Beautiful” What a great movie. Seen it several times. I’m due to see it again :)

      • http://www.facebook.com/kendra.oberhauser Kendra Lee Oberhauser

Yay! Nice to hear from you! Yes, I love that movie too! Buongiorno Principessa! :)

I think if I were to be an actor I would cry every scene especially the sad one, I get so into characters even when I watch a movie.

Someday I really want to see you perform :)

    1) I would probably chose to a famous singer so then I can hire a personal trainer (like Tatianna) :) to make me into an athlete and also hire a personal chef. To be able to sing would be great.
    2) I try to listen to CDs that create motivation and inspiration. Through my business there are CDs create by the people who are doing very well and they talk about the real things that happen to them through their journey and how they made it through the ups and downs.
    3) Blindside and Pursuit of Happiness. I really enjoy those movies that are based on true stories and are feel good movies.
    4) Unexpected, out of the blue, nice messages
    5) I would ask the Dalai Lama if, at any point in his life, did he look at the world and just want to throw in the towel? And if he did, what stopped him from doing so? How did he stay true to his way of thinking?

What a nice question to Dalai Lama, I would love to ask him that as well :)

      I like your #1 answer.

  • Miguel

Hello:) Happy to hear you liked the questions! Thanks for sharing your answers! Have a wonderful week :)

  • Evaleen

I thought the surprise might include Miguel, :D happy to have him join in!

#1 – If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?
Hm, I’ve wanted to be each of those at one time or another– though I have no desire anymore to be a singer, the mere thought is embarrassing. But, I have always wanted to act, to tell and be a part of a story… but only with a group of other amazing actors who inspire me and whom I could learn from. :) Being an athlete is a very close second though– especially a gymnast!
#2 – What are you listening to in your car?
I love something “in motion”, like dance music with an energetic flow. Songs like Orkidea’s “Tw3nty” (<3) or Thomas Datt's "Narani".
#3 – Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?
I usually don't like movie endings… they're often cliche, unrealistically happy or realistically depressing, haha. Can name one though– The Neverending Story.
#4 – What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?
When one of my cats sits at my feet, looking up and purring for a cuddle. :D Or a very funny picture.
#5 – If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
How do you stay at peace when so many innocent people are being hurt, every single day. A rather heavy question I know, but it's something I wish I had the answer to (if one even exists).

Miquel was a good surprise. Your question to the Dalai Lama is one I could like answered too.

    Happy Monday my sweetness :)

  • tee_w

OK, going to try to answer these!
I guess I would like to be a singer, maybe Cindy Lauper as she was really out there, total opposite of me! Lol
What I listen to in my car – this is kind of silly as I live in a small town, commute usually 10 min tops, so local radio is on as not really any point in changing it as you might hear two songs. Though I listen to podcasts at work and if they are not finished I sometimes listen to them on way home, but not supposed to be have headphones on in car.
What three movie endings did I like? This was hard as I have a horrible memory, plus if I’m enjoying the movie I don’t want it to end, so then its a bad ending! Lol so………. Finding nemo – they found him! Matilda was good too, I like how she got everybody back and ended up happy. I liked the incredibles too, jack jack(?) got his powers in the end! A Fish called Wanda is good too ha ha!
What makes you smile? My cats, a good meal, and finishing my workout, and when I do something stupid!
Dalai Lama- no idea, don’t really know anything about him
    Have a great day!

I finally thought of a movie with a really good ending! The Full Monty – they took their hats off! Best ever! Lol

    Hello and happy Tuesday!

    My mingle:

1.Actress, singer or athlete? Neither. I would like to be a writer. (I´m already a wannabe-writer. ) But if I have to choose, I think an athlete because I have always been athletic and I love sports.

    2. Listening in my car? I don´t have a car! I don´t even have a driver´s licence. (I´m 31 years old forever teen) But if I just sit in the car when someone else is driving, I mostly listen what the driver wants. Mostly terrible traditional Finnish music. Sometimes pop and rock. =D

3.Three ending´s of movies? I have to say Saw at first. You know, the typical chick movie! It still gives me the chills. Then I say The Prestige (one of my favourite movies ever!) and The Shutter Island. Oh, there are so many awesome movies!

    4. Smile of the day? My family´s cat. It´s the most adorable thing in the world. She´s already 18 years old. And coffee. I love coffee! Love, love, love! You can take my sugar, but don´t take my coffee! =D

5 Dalai Lama? I don´t know. I think I would be speechless. Maybe I would ask does he think if there is hope for everyone or something.

1 – If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why? – When I was a kid-teen I wanted to be a dancer like in Flashdance and Dirty Dancing and a singer like Britney Spears but now I think I would prefer to be an actress, I think it would be therapeutic to be someone else and put myself in their place, I’m very good at it, not at acting lol but I’m very sensitive and empathetic.
2 – What are you listening to in your car? – I don’t have a car but I love to listen to what I called happy music, music that makes me wanna dance and makes me feel happy like Shakira, Beyoncé, Maroon 5, Rihanna, Britney…
3 – Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most? – Under the Tuscan Sun, Life is Beautiful and Dirty Dancing :)
4 – What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV? – My 3 dogs, my boyfriend, helping someone, a good news, not only for me but good news in general.

    5. If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be? – That’s a difficult one, I’m a Buddhist so I have read a lot about Dalai Lama, I don’t think I would ask him anything, I would like to hug him, smile to him, meditate with him and listen to him talking about anything, he always makes jokes :)

If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why? I would want to be a ballerina. Does that count in the “athlete” grouping? I’ve wanted to be a ballerina since I was 3 or 4. Never happened, though.

What are you listening to in your car? Currently, Mogwai and Sigur Ros. So beautiful.

Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most? the end of Shaun of the Dead always makes me smile, the end of Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles (I love 80′s movies!)

What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV? My dogs, Jesse and Ryuu. Dogs really do love unconditionally.

If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be? I’d ask if he believes animals have souls.

    • SuSu

Sigur Ros…very beautiful. My husband plays that for me when I can’t fall asleep and it instantly works.

    • Evaleen

Happy berfday! Hope you enjoyed it and the celebration workout. :D

  • SuSu

If you could be an actor, singer or athlete, who would you be and why?
Athlete because I would be in awesome shape and not have all my business plastered on the front of magazines.

What are you listening to in your car?
I usually don’t listen to anything because it can distract me easily.

Ending of which 3 movies did you like the most?
All 3 Bourne movies, Cinderella, The Kings Speech

What makes you smile throughout the day that is not a person or a TV?
Seeing my kale grow, thinking of funny things my best friend and I used to do

If you could ask the Dalai Lama one question what would it be?
    Who is Jesus to you?

    • SuSu

Another great movie ending…secondhand lions…such a great movie.
